Virtue of Companions
Hazrat Ibn Umar (RA) narrates that during the time of the Prophet (PBUH), we did not consider anyone equal to Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA), then Hazrat Umar (RA) then Hazrat Uthman (RA) then we the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH). We used to leave, we did not give any preference to each other.
It is narrated from Hazrat Qatadah (RA) that Anas bin Malik (RA) narrated to him the hadith that the Prophet (PBUH) climbed Uhud (Mountain), Abu Bakr (RA), Umar (RA) and Uthman (RA) also followed him, so that Uhud moved because of them. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put his blessed foot on him and said, “Ahud, stay (on you)”.
Hazrat Abd al-Rahman bin Akhnas narrates that while he was in the mosque, a person mentioned Hazrat Ali (radhiallahu anhu) (with bad words). So Hazrat Saeed Bin Zayd RA stood up and said. I bear witness on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that I heard him say that ten people belong to Paradise.
The Prophet ﷺ is in heaven, Abu Bakr is in heaven, Umar is in heaven, Uthman is in heaven, Ali is in heaven, Talhah is in heaven, Zubair bin al-Awam is in heaven, Saeed bin Malik is in heaven, Abd al-Rahman bin Awf is in heaven. And if I want, I will tell you the name of the tenth one. He said he is Saeed bin Zayd.
Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: None of those who pledge allegiance under a tree will enter the Fire.
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں ہم کسی کو حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے برابر نہیں سمجھتے تھے پھر حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ پھر حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ پھر ہم صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہم رخصت ہوتے تھے، ایک دوسرے پر کوئی ترجیح نہیں دیتے تھے۔
حضرت قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان سے یہ حدیث بیان کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم احد پہاڑ پر چڑھے، ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ اور عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ بھی اس کے پیچھے چلے۔ اس لیے کہ احد ان کی وجہ سے منتقل ہو گیا۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا مبارک قدم اس پر رکھا اور فرمایا: احد تم ٹھہرو۔
حضرت عبدالرحمٰن بن اخنس رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ جب وہ مسجد میں تھے تو ایک شخص نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کا ذکر کیا۔ تو حضرت سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ کھڑے ہوئے اور فرمایا۔ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ میں نے آپ کو فرماتے سنا کہ دس آدمی جنتی ہیں۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جنت میں ہیں، ابوبکر جنت میں ہیں، عمر جنت میں ہیں، عثمان جنت میں ہیں، علی جنت میں ہیں، طلحہ جنت میں ہیں، زبیر بن العوام جنت میں ہیں، سعید بن مالک جنت میں ہیں، عبد اللہ رضی اللہ عنہ جنت میں ہیں۔ رحمن بن عوف جنت میں ہیں۔ اور اگر میں چاہوں تو دسویں کا نام بتا دوں۔ اس نے کہا وہ سعید بن زید ہیں۔
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: درخت کے نیچے بیعت کرنے والوں میں سے کوئی بھی جہنم میں نہیں جائے گا۔
