Virtue of Companions
On the authority of Hazrat Saad bin Abi Waqqas, may Allah be pleased with him, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, appointed Ali as his deputy in Medina on the occasion of the Battle of Tabuk. are So he said, “Are you not satisfied that you are to me as Aaron was to Moses, but there will be no prophet after me?”
On the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said on the day of the Battle of Khyber: Tomorrow, I will give the flag to the person who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah will grant victory to him.Umar bin Khattab.
Virtue of Companions
Radiyallahu Anhu says that I have never wished for an emirate except that day. I came to him on that day with the hope that he would call me to give me the flag. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, called Ali bin Abi Talib and while giving him the flag, he said, “Go, don’t be distracted.” May Allah grant you victory.
Ali went some distance and then stopped without looking around and said, O Messenger of Allah, on what basis should I fight with the people? The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Fight them until they bear witness to the word ‘There is no God but Allah.'” Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. If they testify, then they have secured their lives and property from you, except that someone has a right over them and their account is the responsibility of Allah Ta’ala.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not gather his parents for anyone other than Saad bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) (that is, he did not say these words for any other companion). They were saying that my father is sacrificed for you (on the enemies) shoot arrows.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) encouraged the people to wage Jihad on the day of the Battle of the Trench, and Zubair (R.A.) said, “I am here.” So Zubair said, “I am here.” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Every prophet has a disciple (special helper) and my disciple is Zubair.”
Narrated by Hazrat Anas, may Allah be pleased with him. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Every Ummah has an Amin, and the Amin of my Ummah is Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him).
صحابہ کی فضیلت
حضرت سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ کی طرف سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جنگ تبوک کے موقع پر علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو مدینہ میں اپنا نائب مقرر کیا۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کیا تم اس بات پر راضی نہیں ہو کہ تم مجھ سے ایسے ہو جیسے ہارون موسیٰ کے لیے تھے لیکن میرے بعد کوئی نبی نہیں آئے گا۔
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خیبر کی جنگ کے دن فرمایا: کل میں جھنڈا دوں گا۔ وہ شخص جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے محبت کرتا ہے اور اللہ اسے فتح عطا فرمائے گا۔ عمر بن خطاب۔ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے اس دن کے علاوہ کبھی امارت کی تمنا نہیں کی۔ میں اس دن اس کے پاس اس امید کے ساتھ آیا تھا کہ وہ مجھے جھنڈا دینے کے لیے بلائے گا۔
پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے علی بن ابی طالب کو بلایا اور جھنڈا دیتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ جاؤ تم پریشان نہ ہو۔ اللہ آپ کو فتح عطا فرمائے۔ علی کچھ دور گئے اور پھر ادھر ادھر دیکھے بغیر رک گئے اور کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ میں لوگوں سے کس بنیاد پر جنگ کروں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ان سے اس وقت تک لڑو جب تک کہ وہ اس بات کی گواہی نہ دیں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔“ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ کے سول ہیں۔ اگر وہ گواہی دیں تو انہوں نے تم سے اپنی جان و مال چھین لیا، سوائے اس کے کہ ان پر کسی کا حق ہو اور ان کا حساب اللہ تعالیٰ کے ذمہ ہے۔
حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے والدین کو سعد بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کے علاوہ کسی اور کے لیے جمع نہیں فرمایا۔ یعنی یہ الفاظ کسی دوسرے صحابی کے لیے نہیں کہے)۔ وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ میرا باپ آپ پر قربان ہے (دشمنوں پر) تیر چلاؤ۔
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غزوہ خندق کے دن لوگوں کو جہاد کی ترغیب دی تو حضرت زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں حاضر ہوں۔ تو زبیر نے کہا کہ میں حاضر ہوں۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہر نبی کا ایک شاگرد ہوتا ہے اور میرا شاگرد زبیر ہے۔ حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہر امت کا ایک امین ہوتا ہے اور میری امت کے امین ابو عبیدہ بن جراح رضی اللہ عنہ ہیں۔
