Virtue of Companions
It was narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Who among you has fasted today? Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard him say: Who among you fed the poor today? Abu Bakr (may God be pleased with him) said: I said: Who among you visited the sick today? Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: Whoever gathers all these deeds, he will surely enter Paradise.
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwa that Arwa bint Owais claimed against Saeed bin Zayd that they had taken some of her land. She took this case to Marwan bin Huqam. So Saeed (RA) said, “Can I take some of his land after hearing from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)?” Marwan said, “What did you hear from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?” Saeed bin Zayd said,
I heard from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that whoever takes even one square meter of land by injustice, a chain of seven lands will be placed around his neck. Then Marwan said to them, I will not ask you as a witness after this. Then Saeed said, “O Allah, if this (woman) is a liar, then blind her and kill her in her own land.”(That woman did not die before being seen, but she was walking in her land when she suddenly fell into a pit and died)
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent me as a commander in the Zaat-ul-Salsil army. He said: Ayesha, may Allah be pleased with her, I said: Among the dead? He said, “His father.” I said, “Then who is he?” He said, Umar.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) that when the body of Hazrat Umar Ibn Khattab (RA) was placed on the throne, people gathered around him, they prayed for him and said words of praise, and before the dead body was taken away, he offered his funeral prayer. I was among those people who were studying. Suddenly, a person put his hand on my shoulder from behind, I turned around in panic and it was Ali.
I like to meet Allah Ta’ala with the deeds done. By Allah, I believe that Allah will place you with your two companions, because I used to hear the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) often saying: I came to Abu Bakr, and Umar came, and I came out to Abu Bakr and Umar, and I believe that Allah Almighty will Will keep you with both your partners.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was lying in my house and at that time both of his legs were open. At that time, the Holy Prophet continued to lie in the same position. Then the Prophet continued to talk. Then Umar asked for permission. Allah asked permission, then the Holy Prophet sat up and straightened his clothes. Uthman came and started talking.
When he left, I asked, when Abu Bakr came, he did not think about him or him. care about Even when Umar came, he did not care about him, and when Uthman came, he sat up and straightened his clothes. He said, “How can I not be modest with that person whom even the angels are modest with?”
صحابہ کی فضیلت
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے آج کس نے روزہ رکھا ہے؟ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں نے انہیں کہتے سنا: تم میں سے آج کس نے مسکین کو کھانا کھلایا؟ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے کہا: آج تم میں سے کس نے بیمار کی عیادت کی؟ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: جس نے ان تمام اعمال کو جمع کر لیا وہ جنت میں داخل ہو گا۔
حضرت عروہ سے روایت ہے کہ عروہ بنت اویس نے سعید بن زید کے خلاف دعویٰ کیا کہ انہوں نے ان کی کچھ زمین لے لی ہے۔ وہ یہ مقدمہ مروان بن حکم کے پاس لے گئی۔ تو سعید رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ کیا میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سن کر ان کی زمین میں سے کچھ لے سکتا ہوں؟ مروان نے کہا کہ تم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کیا سنا؟ سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا کہ جو شخص ایک مربع میٹر زمین بھی ظلم سے لے گا،
اس کے گلے میں سات زمینوں کا زنجیر ڈال دیا جائے گا، مروان نے کہا۔ اس کے بعد میں تجھ سے گواہی نہیں مانگوں گا، تو سعید نے کہا: اے اللہ اگر یہ (عورت) جھوٹی ہے تو سے اندھا کر کے اس کے ملک میں قتل کر دے۔ (وہ عورت نظر آنے سے پہلے نہیں مری تھی بلکہ وہ اپنی زمین پر چل رہی تھی کہ اچانک گڑھے میں گر کر مر گئی)
حضرت عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے غضۃ الصلسیل لشکر میں سپہ سالار بنا کر بھیجا ۔ انہوں نے کہا: عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا، میں نے کہا: مرنے والوں میں سے؟ اس نے کہا اس کا باپ۔ میں نے کہا پھر وہ کون ہے؟ اس نے کہا عمر۔
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ جب حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کی میت کو تخت پر رکھا گیا تو لوگ ان کے گرد جمع ہو گئے، انہوں نے ان کے لیے دعا کی اور حمد و ثناء کے کلمات کہے، اور میت کو اٹھانے سے پہلے۔ دور ان کی نماز جنازہ پڑھی۔ میں ان لوگوں میں شامل تھا جو پڑھ رہے تھے۔ اچانک پیچھے سے ایک شخص نے میرے کندھے پر ہاتھ رکھا، میں گھبرا کر پیچھے مڑا تو وہ علی تھا۔
میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے اعمال کے ساتھ ملنا پسند کرتا ہوں۔ اللہ کی قسم مجھے یقین ہے کہ اللہ آپ کو آپ کے دونوں ساتھیوں کے ساتھ رکھے گا کیونکہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اکثر یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا تھا کہ میں ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آیا اور عمر رضی اللہ عنہ آئے اور میں ابوبکر و عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے پاس آیا۔ اور مجھے یقین ہے کہ اللہ تعالی آپ کو آپ کے دونوں ساتھیوں کے ساتھ رکھے گا۔
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے گھر میں لیٹے ہوئے تھے اور اس وقت آپ کی دونوں ٹانگیں کھلی ہوئی تھیں۔ اس وقت بھی حضور اسی حالت میں لیٹتے رہے۔ پھر نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بات جاری رکھی۔ پھر عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اجازت چاہی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اجازت چاہی تو حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اٹھ کر بیٹھ گئے اور اپنے کپڑے سیدھا کر لیے۔ عثمان نے آکر بات شروع کی۔
جب وہ چلا گیا تو میں نے پوچھا، جب ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ آئے تو انہوں نے ان کے بارے میں سوچا یا نہیں؟ خیال رکھنا جب عمر رضی اللہ عنہ آئے تو انہوں نے ان کی پرواہ نہ کی اور جب عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ آئے تو اٹھ کر بیٹھ گئے اور کپڑے سیدھا کر لیے۔ اس نے کہا کہ میں اس شخص کے ساتھ کیسے حیا نہ کروں جس کے ساتھ فرشتے بھی نرمی کرتے ہیں۔
